Meat, eggs, milk being sold at mobile sales centers 

The government has adjusted prices and increased sales of meat, eggs and milk at more affordable prices on the occasion of the holy Ramadan. 

From now on, eggs (per dozen) will be sold at Tk 100 instead of Tk 108, dressed broiler meat (per kg) at Tk 250, pasteurized milk (per liter) at Tk 80 and beef (per kg) at Tk 650 across the country. 

Moreover, as part of the special program, the scope of the dressed broiler, eggs, pasteurized milk and beef sales program has been increased through 23 additional mobile sales centers in Dhaka city, 3 in Narayanganj city and 14 in 7 divisional offices. 

This information was given in a notification by the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock on Saturday.

Under the initiative of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, sales of dressed broilers, eggs, pasteurized milk and beef are being carried out at mobile centers in Dhaka city from 1st Ramadan to 28th Ramadan and broilers, eggs, pasteurized milk, beef and mutton are being sold at affordable prices across the country in order to ensure the supply of meat, eggs, milk, etc. during the holy month of Ramadan and to keep prices stable.

Milk, eggs, dressed broiler and beef worth Taka 19,83,54,768 have been sold through mobile sales centers to a total of 6,09,430 buyers across the country till March 19. As a result, the supply and prices of meat, eggs and milk have remained stable across the country.

Locations of the 25 ongoing Mobile Sales Centres in Dhaka are- near the Secretariat, Khamarbari (Farmgate), 60 Feet Road (Mirpur), Azimpur Maternity Hospital (Azimpur), Naya Bazar (Old Dhaka), Banasree, Hazaribagh (Section), Arambagh (Motijheel), Mohammadpur (Babar Road), Kalshi (Mirpur), Jatrabari (Maniknagar), Shahjadpur (Badda), Korail Slum, Banani, Kamrangirchar, Khilgaon (South of Railway Crossing), Nakhal Para (Lukas Mor), Segunbagicha (Kacha Bazar), Bosila (Mohammadpur), Uttara (House Building), Rampura (Bazar), Mirpur 10, Kalyanpur (Jhilpar), Tejgaon, Old Dhaka (Bangabazar) and Kakrail.

Additional 26 Mobile Sales Locations in Dhaka and Narayanganj are at Asad Gate (Town Hall), Lalmatia Women's College, Shankar Plaza, Jigatola (Kaiser Sweetmeat), Azimpur (Gate 3), New Paltan, Elephant Road (in front of Eastern Mallika), Jurain Kacha Bazar, Tatibazar, Gabtoli Mazar Road, Mirpur 6 Bazar, Shewrapara, Kachukhet Bazar, Uttara Azampur Kacha Bazar, Merul Badda, Moghbazar Mor, Green Road, behind Bashundhara Evercare Hospital, Basabo Buddhist Temple, Middle Badda Link Road, Joar Sahara, Uttara Khalpar, Rampura Hajipara, Lalbagh Orphanage, DC Office Chan Mari, Chashara Chattar and Tarakar Math (Kutubpur).
