Govt issues gazette declaring April 3 as holiday

The government has issued a gazette extending the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday by one day through an executive order.
The public administration ministry published a notification in this regard on Sunday (March 23).
According to the notice, all government, semi-government, autonomous, semi-autonomous, and private offices will remain closed on April 3.
Emergency services, such as hospitals, electricity, water, gas, fire service, telephone and internet and cleaning will be out of the purview of the order.
