Conspiracy underway to make army controversial: Tarique Rahman 

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has alleged that a conspiracy is underway to pit the Bangladesh army against the people.

Tarique Rahman made the allegation while virtually addressing an iftar party of the BNP media cell in the capital on Monday (March 24) from London.

“Our country is heading towards instability so we all must work together by standing on a single platform to thwart the plan at any cost,” he said.

He also urged the countrymen, including the journalists to remain alert, ensuring that the blood of those killed, disappeared and abducted during the 1971 Liberation War, as well as in the democratic struggles of the past 16 years, does not go in vain.

At this time, the BNP acting chairman called on media workers to present the true stories to the nation.
