Conspiracy underway to rehabilitate Awami League: Nahid  

National Citizens Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam has commented that a conspiracy is underway to rehabilitate the Awami League. 

He made the allegation while virtually joining the NCP’s iftar party in Narayanganj on Monday (March 24).

Nahid Islam said, “Recently, some conspiracies are going on to rehabilitate the fascist Awami League. NCP has expressed a clear position on this issue. If there is any attempt to rehabilitate fascism again, NCP will resist it”. 

He said, “After 15 years of genocide and disappearances and the July massacre, Awami League can no longer be considered a political party. I demand of the government that Awami League must be declared as a terrorist party group and their registration must be cancelled”.

Recalling the role of students of Narayanganj district in the July Uprising, he paid tribute to the martyrs and injured.
