Nor’wester, cyclone forecast in April

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has warned of possible low-pressure systems, cyclones, and nor’wester storms in the month of April.

April is also set to be a sweltering month, with forecasts predicting not only mild but also moderate to severe heatwaves across the country, according to the BMD.

This was confirmed in a notice signed by meteorologist Mominul Islam on Tuesday (April 1).
