Meghna Alam shown arrested in fraud case

A Dhaka court has shown model Meghna Alam arrested in a fraud case filed with Dhanmondi Police Station.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Masum Mia passed the order after she was produced before the court on Thursday (April 17) morning.

The investigation officer submitted a petition to show her arrested in the case, which was supported by the Public Prosecutor of the Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court on behalf of the state.

Earlier, Meghna Alam was sent to jail on the night of April 10 under the Special Powers Act, 1974.
