2 UPDF activists shot dead in Khagrachari

District Correspondent, KHAGRACHARI, Apr 12: At least two UPDF (United Peoples Democratic Front) activists were shot dead at Panchhari in the district on Saturday morning.

 

The deceased were identified Natundhan Chakma (30) and Roket Chakma (35).

According to witnesses, a gang of miscreants shot dead them while they were taking tea at a stall in Baraitali area at about 9.00am.

Milon Chakma, chief of UPDF media wing, blamed the Jano Sanghati Samity (JSS) for the killing.
