Arrest warrant against Joynal Hazari

Feni Correspondent: A Noakhali court has issued an arrest warrant against former Awami League lawmaker of Feni-2 constituency Joynal Hazari.

The arrest warrant was issued following a case filed by Anti Corruption Commission (ACC). Noakhali special tribunal Judge Shirin Kabita Aktar passed the order.

Md. Mahabub Morshed, acting Officer in Charge of Feni Model Police Station, said they have received the copy of the order on Wednesday noon.

According to court sources, the court issued the warrant as Joynal Hajari did not appear before the court in connection with a money laundering case filed on June 16.

The police will arrest him as per the order if he does not appear before the court within October 19.
