2 BD workers killed at Sharjah in UAE

Desk Report: Two Bangladeshi workers have died after falling from an under-construction building in Sharjah city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Gulf News has reported.

The Dubai-based regional news outlet said on its website that according to police the incident took place on Wednesday morning around 9.30am.

Of the workers one was 40-year-old who died on the spot while the other unidentified worker succumbed to his injuries at Al Qassimi hospital, said the newspaper on Thursday.

The daily neither gave further details of the workers nor did it mention the floor number in which they were working when the accident happened.
