Tarique faces another defamation case

Feni Correspondent: BNP Senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman was sued again for calling Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman a ‘top Razakar on Tuesday noon.

Awami League-backed Lawyers Forum member Advocate Gazi Tarek filed the defamation case with the court of Senior Judge Alamgir Faruki.

According to the case statement, derogatory remark on father of the nation means an unscrupulous man has born in the political field. And he filed a defamation case involving Tk.1,000 crore against Tarique Rahman.

On December 15, Tarique Rahman, the elder son of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, said Sheikh Mujib was a “Razakar”, “Killer”, “Friend of Pakistan”,
