Koko’s wife and two daughters beside his grave
Staff Correspondent: Wife and two daughters of Arafat Rahman Koko, the recently demised younger son of the late President Ziaur Rhaman and former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, have gone back to Malaysia.
Sharmila Rahman, wife of Koko, and their two daughters Zahia Rahman and Zafia Rahman left Dhaka by a Malaysia Airlines flight on Monday noon.
Shamsuddin Didar, a press wing member of BNP chief, confirmed the news.
Earlier on January 27, the wife and two daughters of Arafat Rahman Koko came to Dhaka with the dead body of Koko.
Since then, they were staying with Khaleda Zia in her Gulshan political office where she was staying after the law enforcers barred her from coming out to address a rally on January 5, 1st anniversary of 10th parliament election, marking the day as ‘Democracy Murder Day’.
Sources in BNP said Zahia and Zafia are studying in Malaysia. So, they had to go back there as they have examinations.
It is worth to be mentioned here that on January 24, Koko who had been living in Malaysia on parole, died at a hospital at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia from cardiac arrest.
