Nawab Salimullah`s birth anniversary today

Staff Correspondent: The 144th birth anniversary of Nawab Sir Khwaja Salimullah Bahadur, founder of Muslim League and one of the founders of Oxford of the East Dhaka University, is today (June 7).

Different social, volunteer, cultural and political organizations have chalked out daylong programmes to mark the day.

The programmes will feature placing of wreaths at the mazar of Salimullah at Begumbazar, recitation of Fateha, milad and doa mahphil.

Nawab Sir Salimullah Memorial Committee will organise the milad and doa mahphil on the mazar premises.
