Fake design: RAJUK officials under ACC scanner

Staff Correspondent: An allegation has found that a section of officials of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) are making huge money by giving false approval to designs of many buildings  in different parts of the city.

The anti-graft body is now investigating the allegation and has kept many officials under it`s watch, sources said.

According to the allegation, a group of RAJUK officials led by Authorized Officer Mijanur Raham is proving false approval to the building designs through forgery of signs of high officials.

 

There is an allegation that they were involved in forgery of signs of RAJUK Member (Planning) and BC Committee President Sheikh Abdul Mannan and some other high officials. They earned about Tk 10 crore through the illegal ways.

 

ACC officials have already completed their primary works and very soon they will take steps to interrogate the suspected RAJUK officials.
