Swachip council postponed

Staff Correspondent: The council of pro-Awami League doctors’ platform Swadhinata Chikitsak Parishad (Swachip) has been postponed on conditions of accepting Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina`s decision to form the committee.

Dr Iqbal Arslan, the Secretary General of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) and Swadhinata Chikitsak Parishad (Swachip) has declared this from the council session on Friday afternoon.

In addition, the existing executive council was also declared abolished from the session.

Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the council in the capital`s Institution of Engineers auditorium on Friday morning.
