Walton products now in 18 installments

DHAKA, July 5: Walton, a local brand of electrical and electronic products, now offers easier installment facilities to customers. Walton products can be bought in 18 installments from now on. Earlier, customers could buy Walton products in maximum 16 installments.
Walton authorities said, Walton has decided to raise the number of installments taking the purchasing power of consumers, especially those who belong to middle and lower income groups, into account. Besides, it is a great opportunity for those who are interested to buy more products.
It may be mentioned that mild heat wave, coupled with hot and humid weather, is now sweeping across the country. Extreme hot weather has aggravated the lives of people. In such a situation, Walton has come forward with more installment facilities so that middle and low income groups of people can avail the opportunities.
Besides, refrigerators and freezes are required to preserve food from being stale. In such a situation, Walton is providing the flexible installment opportunity, so that the people belonging to low income group can easily purchase Walton refrigerators and freezers along with other products. Moreover the holy month of Ramadan is getting nearer.
This increased opportunity is being provided so that the devotees who keep fasting can purchase refrigerators and freezers in easy installments.
Besides refrigerators and freezers, the new installment facilities will also be applied in purchasing of televisions, motorcycles and air conditioners.
However, the new installment facilities will be valid for purchasing from Walton’s own showrooms and plazas only.
Abul Bashar Ujjal, first senior assistant director of Walton’s Purchase Department, said, “Most of the customers in our country belong to middle income group. Our objective is to make Walton products available at every household. So, we have increased the number of installment and the amount of installments. This new installment scope is effective from June 16.”
