Reduction of internet price demanded

Staff Correspondent: The Bangladesh Mobile Phone Consumers Association has demanded of the government to reduce the cost of all types of internet bills.

The leaders of the organization made the demand at a human chain in front of the National Press Club on Saturday.

President of the association Mohiuddin Ahmed said that the initiative should be taken to reduce internet price in a bid to build Digital Bangladesh for the implementation of the present government’s Vision-2021.

From the human chain, they placed 7-point demand to the government.

General Secretary Abu Bakar Siddique, Joint General Secretary Kazi Amanullah Mahfuz, Md. Masum, Rezaul Karim, Abdur Razzak, Noor Mohammad Sirajee, Afzal Hossain were present, among others.
