Five killed in Chittagong road crash

Staff Correspondent: At least five people were killed and injured eight others as a microbus collided with a truck in Pathanpole area of Chandanaish Upazila in Chittagong on Thursday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said that Chittagong-bound a speedy truck collided with the microbus around 4:00pm, leaving the five people dead on the spot and injured others.

Confirming the matter, Chandanaish police station SI Delwar Hossain told risingbd.com that the injured were sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
