5.5 kg gold seized at Dhaka airport

Staff Correspondent: Customs intelligence detained a passenger along with 5.5 kilogram gold from Shahajalal airport in the capital early Sunday.

The detainee is identified as Abdur Razzak Khan, came to Dhaka by a flight of Malaysia airlines. 

Confirming the matter, Joint Director of Dhaka Customs Sohel A Rahman told risingbd.com that the current market price of the gold is Tk 2.70 crore.
