Anam Rangs Plaza fire under control

Staff Correspondent: Firefighters have brought the blaze under control that broke out at Anam Rangs Plaza in the capital's Dhanmondi area on Sunday afternoon.

The fire was originated at the fourth floor of the six-storey building on Road No. 6/A in Dhanmondi area around 4:00pm, Mizanur Rahman, a duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarters, told risingbd.

On information, 14 units of the firefighters brought the fire under control after frantic efforts for over two and a half hours, he said.

The origin of the fire could not be known immediately, he added.
