Justice Md Shahinur Islam new chairman of ICT-1

Staff Correspondent: Justice Md Shahinur Islam, a High Court judge and now a member of the International Crimes Tribunal-1 (ICT-1), has been appointed as chairman of the tribunal.
Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Secretary Abu Saleh Sheikh Md Jahirul Haque confirmed the matter to media on Wednesday afternoon.
Abu Ahmed Jomader and Justice Amir Hossain have been appointed other members of the ICT-1.
The post of ICT chairman fell vacant after its chairman Justice Anwarul Haque passed away on July 13.
