BPL gambling: Badda murder suspect arrested

Staff Correspondent: Police arrested one Mohammad Asif over killing a private university student in the capital's Badda for protesting against gambling on a BPL match.
The news was revealed by a SMS sent by police on Wednesday morning.
Wazed Ali, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Badda Police Station, also confirmed the news to risingbd.
He said, "We were searching Asif since the incident. He is a listed accused in the case. Details in this regard will be briefed later."
Manarat University student Nasim Ahmed was stabbed to death at Badda on November 6. Family claimed he was killed as he protested gambling over a match of ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
