15 DIGs transferred

Staff Correspondent: In a reshuffle to the police administration, fifteen Deputy Inspector Generals (DIG) have been transferred to new postings.

The home ministry issued a circular in this regard.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) media wing revealed the news on Monday night.

According to the circular, Monirul Islam of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of police was replaced to Anti-Terrorism Unit of Police. NSI director Mejbah Uddin made commandant (DIG) of TDS, Dhaka while RAB Director Selim Md Jahangir (DIG) shifted to  NSI-Dhaka, Central Police Hospital Director Md Lutfor Rahman Mondal made DIG of CID (Dhaka) while PTC Tangail commandant Dr Hassan Ul Haidar (DIG) was shifted to Central Police Hospital, Dhaka,  Chowhdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun of Police Headquarters was replaced to DIG Dhaka range, RAB director Md Shahabuddin Khan to DIG industrial area (Dhaka), T&IM Morshedul Anwar Khan to DIG T&IM (Dhaka), Dr AFM Masum Rabbani of Police Headquarters to DIG SB Dhaka, Barrister Md Harun Or Rashid of Police Headquarters to DIG T&IM, Dhaka.

DMP joint commissioner Mir Rezaul Alam made additional commissioner of DMP  and Mohammad Ali Mia of Dhaka range to DIG of SB (Dhaka).

CMP additional commissioner Devdas Bhattacharya shifted to DMP Dhaka, RAB director Khandoker Lutful Kabir to additional commissioner of DMP and Md Abdul Alim of Police Headquarters to DIG Police Headquarters.
