Holding tax waived for Freedom Fighters

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Sayeed Khokan said that the holding tax for Freedom Fighters (FF) and their families residing in Dhaka city has been waived up to 1,500 square feet. The decision was taken in honor of the FF. A notification has already been issued in this regard.

The mayor came up with the statement while speaking at a programme at Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital on Wednesday.

The programme was jointly arranged by the Dhaka South City and North City corporations.

Sayeed Khokan said initiatives have been taken to name several roads and institutions after freedom fighters. Cemetery rooms have already been fixed for them in Jurain grave yard. The decision will be taken for Azimpur grave yard if it is necessary.
