Govt to issue digital code FF certificate

Hassan Mahamud: The government is going to issue machine readable digital certificates with digital code for the freedom fighters (FF) to identify the fake certificates.

Alongside, the real freedom fighters will also be given digital ID card each, according to Freedom Fighting Affairs Ministry sources.

The sources said the initiative was moving on slow pace due to making a list of real freedom fighters. The list was published on the ministry website in the month of victory.  Now it is matter of time to make and distribute the digital certificates and ID cards to the real freedom fighters.

Ministry sources said a meeting has already been held to finalize the design and features of the certificate and ID card. Several designs have been primarily selected.

 Ministry has sent sample of the certificate and card with eight types of digital codes to the Prime Minister for final nod.
