Question leakage: Student held in Jessore

Staff Correspondent, Jessore: Police detained a college student on charge of question leakage from Jessore Zilla School premises in the district on Saturday.

The detainee is identified as Moniruzzaman, a master's level student of Jessore MM College, son of Sanaullah, hailed from Dhopadi village under Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah.

Jessore Education Board controller Madhan Chandra Rudro said that the guardians of SSC candidates caught him around 10:00am from the examination center area and handed him over to police after he showed “apparently leaked” SSC questions on his mobile phone.

Sub-Inspector Shahidul Islam of Jessore Kotwali police station confirmed the matter.
