RAB DG vows to curb militancy

Staff Correspondent: Director General (DG) of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Benazir Ahmed has vowed to curb militancy from the country.

He said although RAB works for any necessary of the country but they will not deviate from their prime target of curbing militancy.

The RAB DG made the opinion while addressing newsmen after visiting the security measures at Central Shaheed Minar on Tuesday noon.

"Centering Shaheed Minars, RAB took huge security measures across the country. Dividing into five sectors, sufficient security measures will be installed centering Centre Shaheed Minar," he said.

Benazir also said Bomb disposal unit, dog squad swiping force and special striking force will be deployed in Shaheed Minar area.
