US-Bangla plane makes emergency landing at Dhaka

Staff Correspondent: A Malaysia-bound aircraft of US-Bangla Airlines made an emergency landing 30 minutes after taking off at Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday morning.

Following the matter, US-Bangla Airlines General Manager (public relations) Kamrul Islam, said the Malaysia-bound flight pilot received a signal at monitor 15 minutes later just after taking off. Later, the pilot made an emergency landing due to psychological problem.

In reply to a query, he said that flight will resume its journey towards Kuala Lumpur as there no engine fault was found after checking.

Earlier, on March 12, a flight of the same airlines crashed in Nepal killing 51 people .
