‘Law enforcement agencies ready to resist terror attack’

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said law enforcement agencies are ready to resist any kind of terror incident like the Holey Artisan attack of the capital’s Gulshan.

Law enforcers are alert so that no incident similar to that (Hole Artisan) could take place any more, he added.

The Minister said while speaking at a programme in the capital’s Razarbag on Sunday. The programme was arranged to express sympathy to the relatives of deceased of the terror attack.

Kamal said, “It was a notorious terror attack of the country. People who were killed in the incident never will return. But members of different law enforcement agencies conducted drives there and rescued many alive.”

“After the attack, law enforcement agencies found the entire plan of the militants. As a result, many drives were conducted at different places of the country including the capital Dhaka. Many militants were killed and explosives were seized in the drives.  Still, operations are running. Law enforcement agencies including police and RAB are always alert so that militants could not raise their heads,” he added.

Home Minister said, “Investigation of Holey Artisan attack is nearly at end. Charge sheet will be submitted accusing those were involved in the incident”
