Tough position must against corruption right now

Staff Correspondent: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmood said we must have to go on tough position against the corruption to achieve recognition of developing country.
He came up with the observation while inaugurating “Corruption Prevention Week-2018” in front of ACC headquarters of the capital on Monday.
The Corruption Prevention Week started from March 26 and will continue till April 1.
Expressing respects to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives, ACC Chairman said, “We have been able to establish an independent state geographically. It’s a matter of our pride. We achieved the freedom. But we could not earn economic and social freedom. We could not achieve freedom against prejudices, terrorism and militancy.
“Though we are going forward economically, we must have to wait to get recognition of developing country. For this, we must have to make the development sustainable,” he added.
Iqbal Mahmood said, “We must have to take tough position against the corruption right now, if we want to achieve the goal of developing country.”
