Hajj flight to start on July 14

Secretariat Correspondent: The first Hajj flight for pilgrims is set to take off on July 14, said Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal.

The Minister came up with the disclosure after a meeting held at the ministry at Secretariat on Thursday.

The officials of Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry, Hajj Agencies and Asscociation of Bangladesh and Biman Bangladesh Airlines were present in the meeting.

Shahjahan Kamal said, “A total of 1, 27,198 pilgrims will perform the annual ritual this year from Bangladesh. Of them, 7,198 pilgrims would perform hajj under government management.
