Dudu released on bail

Senior Correspondent: BNP vice-chairman and Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu was released from prison after the High Court granted him bail in a case filed with Ramna police station.

He was freed from Keraniganj central jail around 2:45pm on Wednesday.

Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal vice-president Nazimuddin Master, BNP associate organization ‘Desh Bachao, Manush Bachao Andolon’ president KM Rakibul Islam Ripon and other leaders greeted Dudu with flowers at the jail gate.

On February 12, Police arrested Dudu in a case filed with Ramna police station and later he was sent to jail.
