Speaker mourns death of Belal Chowdhury

Staff Correspondent: Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury today expressed profound shock and grief at the death of renowned poet Belal Chaudhury.

In a condolence message, the speaker said, "The nation lost a popular poet. It’s an irreparable loss in literature sector."

Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury conveyed her profound sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.

Belal Chowdhury died at a hospital in the capital today at the age of 79.
