Three Jamaat leaders held in Kushtia

Kushtia Correspondent: Police arrested three leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami from Mirpur upazila of the district on Friday.
The detainees are - upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Abdul Gafur, 60, his assistant secretary Rafiqul Islam, 55 and Jamaat leader Shafi Mollah, 50.
Sources said that acting on a tip-off, the law enforcers detained them with five cocktails and huge number of Jihadi books during a secret meeting at Nimtala Bazar.
Mirpur police station Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Azizur Rahman confirmed the matter.
