DU observes Nazrul’s birth anniversary

Staff Correspondent: The Dhaka University (DU) authorities observed the 119th birth anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam on Friday with due to solemnity.

The theme of this year was "Jatiya Jagorone Kabi Nazrul'.

Students, teachers, officials and employees of Dhaka University offered floral wreath at the grave (mazar) of the poet.

Later, a commemorating discussion programme was held on the grave premises with Dhaka University Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin in the chair.
