UPDF factional gunfight kills 3 in Rangamati

Staff Correspondent: Three members of United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) were killed and one injured in a gunfight between two of its factions in Rangamati's Baghaichhari upazila Monday morning.

The deceased were identified as Sushil Chakma, Smrity Chakma and Atol Chakma. Another member Kanon Chakma is injured critically.

Members of main UPDF and Ganatantrik UPDF locked into the gun battle in the morning over previous enmity, leaving the three dead and one injured, said Nurul Anwar, officer-in-charge of Sajek police station.
