Recommendation for halting harassment to goods-laden trucks

Secretariat Correspondent: The parliamentary committee recommended for necessary steps so that trucks carrying daily essential commodities can reach their destination without facing any harassment and obstacle.

The committee also suggested taking actions against those who are making such harassments.

The committee asked the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) to take quick steps for bringing the prices of essential commodities under control.

The recommendations were made at the 27th meeting of the parliamentary standing committee at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Monday.
