India tour strengthens bilateral ties, says PM

Risingbd Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the relationship between the two countries has been strengthened by her just-concluded visit to India.

The Premier said this while she was addressing media at her official residence Gono Bhaban in Dhaka on Wednesday afternoon about the outcomes of her just-concluded visit to India.

In reply to a query, PM said, “I went to West Bengal to inaugurate Bangladesh Bhaban there. Our importance was mainly on that. There is a joint river commission between the two countries over the Teesta Treaty where the discussion is running.”
