Circular for recruitment of 12,000 pry teachers in June

Secretariat Correspondent: The government has decided to appoint a total of 12,000 assistant teachers for primary schools across the country.

Directorate of Primary Equation (DPE) sources said that the recruitment circular for the posts will be published in June.

The decision was taken in a recent meeting held at DEP with DEP Director General Dr Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal in chair.

Sources said that around 10,000 teachers will be recruited through the ongoing recruitment tests. Besides, 12,000 more will be appointed through a new recruitment test in the last of June month under the third Primary Education Development Programme (PEDP).

Additional director general Ramzan Ali said the process is underway to recruit 10,000 teachers which was postponed in 2014. The written and viva examination will be completed very  soon.

Side-by-side the ongoing recruitment, the procedure to recruit more 12,000 teachers will be started, he added.
