Extortion Case: Nurul Azim Rony lands in jail

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Former general secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League's Chattogram city chapter, Nurul Azim Rony has been sent to jail in an extortion case.

Chattogram Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Osman Goni passed the order around 12:00am on Monday.

Assistant commissioner (prosecution) of CMP Kazi Sahabuddin Ahmed confirmed the matter.

Court sources said that on April 3, Chattogram Biggan Collage Princial Dr Jahed Khan filed a case with Chakbazar police station on charge of extortion.
