Holidaymakers returning to capital after Eid vacation

Staff Correspondent: With the Eid vacation drawing an end, the holidaymakers have started returning to the capital after celebrating the Eid-ul-Fitr with their near and dear ones in different districts.

A good number of people were seen returning to Dhaka on Tuesday. Using train service, the city dwellers arrived safely. Most of the trains arrived Kamalapur rail station in time.

Kamalapur railway station manager Sitangshu Chakrabarti told risingbd.com, "The holidaymakers have started coming back to capital from Tuesday morning. Huge crowed would be created one or two days later."

"Trains are arriving station in time. However, a large number of people are seen going to their native village yet," he added.

Rozina Begum, a passenger said, "I had a return ticket. That's I was bound to return. There was no crowd in the train. And it was a comfortable journey."
