Guterres, Kim arrive in Cox’s Bazar

Cox's Bazar Correspondent: UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and World Bank President Jim Yong Kim arrived in Cox’s Bazar to visit the Rohingya refugee camps on Monday morning.
A special flight of Bangladesh Biman carrying them landed at Cox's Bazar airport at 8:45am. From the airport, they were taken to the Hotel Sayeman Beach Resort at Kolatoli of Cox's Bazar.
Later, they started their journey around 10:00am to visit the refugee camps in Kutupalong. The UN Secretary General and World Bank President arrived in Kutupalong Rohingya camps at 11:00am.
Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi and International Red Cross President Peter Maurer and other top officials are also accompanying Guterres and Kim on the trip.
