Ecnec approves 9 projects

Staff Correspondent: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec) has approved nine projects worth Tk 7,539.13 crore.

The projects were approved at an Ecnec meeting on Sunday, chaired by Ecnec Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Of the cost, Tk 6,751.66 crore will be provided by the national exchequer, Tk 258.57 crore by the implementing organisation and Tk 528.90 crore from project assistance.
Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said this at a press briefing following the meeting.
