The minister has also expressed deep shock at the tragic deaths of two students in a road accident on Airport Road in the capital on July 29.
Nahid expressed his shock while speaking at a meeting at the ministry on Wednesday.
In the meeting, the minister said that the Prime Minister has already issued directives to take strict action against those responsible for the accident and asked the authorities to bring discipline in the road transport sector.
Earlier on Sunday (July 29), two students of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin School and College -- Diya Khanam Mim and Abdul Karim Rajib -- were killed as a Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan bus ploughed through some students in front of Kurmitola General Hospital at Airport Road.
