Man, grandson killed in Rajshahi road crash

Staff Correspondent, Rajshahi: A man and his grandson were killed and two others were injured as an auto-rickshaw overturned in Katakhali area of the city on Saturday morning.

The deceased were identified as Nazim Ahmed, 50, and his grandson Arafat, 3.

The auto-rickshaw carrying Nazim, his wife and two grandsons on their way to a relative’s house overturned, leaving four injured.

The injured were taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where Nazim and Arafat were declared dead.

Mahedi Hasan, officer-in-charge of Katakhali Police station, confirmed the matter.
