Four more medical colleges get PM's approval

Secretariat Correspondent: Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has approved four new medical colleges and hospitals.
The minister came up with the announcement at a press briefing at the secretariat on Sunday.
A total 250 students will able to get enrolled from 2018-19 academic session in each of the colleges.
He said that new four medical colleges to be set up in Magura, Naogaon, Nilphamari and Netrakona districts. Besides, another proposal is kept waiting for approval.
The health minister also said there has been a lot of improvement in medical services in Bangladesh. Even, people from foreign countries visit Bangladesh to take medical treatment.
"Some seven thousands doctors will be recruited within October to November. They have to stay in villages for three years," he added.
Sheikh Hasina burn and Plastic Surgery Institute will inaugurated at Chankharpul in the capital by October. It will be the World's largest burn and plastic surgery institute.
