Raifa’s death: 4 doctors get bail

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: A Chattogram court on Monday granted bail to four doctors of Max Hospital in the port city in a case filed over the death of three-year-old Raifa.

The four accused are the hospital’s director Dr Liakot Ali, child specialist Bidhan Roy Chowdhury and medical officers Debasis Sengupta and Shuvro Deb.

Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Salem Mohammad Noman granted them bail after they surrendered before the lower court and sought bail in the case.
