2 kiiled as train hits bus in Mirsarai

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: At least two persons were killed as a train hit a bus in Baryarhat rail crossing area of Mirsarai early Sunday.

At least 20 others were injured in the incident that took place on Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Mirsarai upazila around 4.00am.

The deceased were passengers of the bus, but they were not identified yet.

According to sources, a Chattogram-bound Bijoy Express Train hit a Khagrachhari-bound bus of S Alam  Paribahan bus, leaving the casualties.

The injured have been admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital and number of death toll can increase.
