Senior Reporter: The committee formed to evaluate the quota system has recommended for abolishing the existing quota from ninth grade to 13th grade (first and second class) government jobs.
Cabinet Secretary M Shafiul Alam told this to journalists at the Secretariat in Dhaka on Monday.
The recommendations have been sent to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today, said M Shafiul Alam who led the seven-member committee formed on July 2.
