Rail communication of Rangpur halted

Staff Correspondent, Bogura: Rail communication of Rangpur with the capital city was halted due to construction of a rail bridge in Bhelur Para area of Sonatola in Bagura district on Sunday morning.

Benjurul Islam, station master of Bagura railway confirmed the matter around 9:45am.

He said the construction work is underway from last two days. The rail communication of Rangpur with Dhaka would be normal around 5:00pm today.

Earlier on Saturday, a rail bridge in the area showed some trouble at 11:00am. Later, all types of rail communication from Dhaka to Rangpur declared shut.
