Fire at Gazipur Textile mill

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A fire broke out at a Textile mill in Maleker Bari area of Gazipur City Corporation on Friday noon.
Jakir Hossain, senior station officer of Joydebpur Fire Service and Civil Defence said the fire originated around 12:00pm during work at boiler room of Unimax Textile Limited.
Later, on information, four units from Gazipur Fire Service rushed to the spot and brought the blaze after one hour frantic efforts.
No one received injury from the fire, he added.
